Start with the computer that will actually run Dukkanak. Activation is device-specific, so choosing it comes first.
1. Choose how you will work
The offline edition runs independently on your computer. The merchant portal is an online service. Review editions and plans if you are still deciding.
2. Prepare your computer
The offline edition requires Windows x64 and an available TPM. Make sure you can install software and have enough free storage. If you are unsure about compatibility, ask us before purchasing a license.
3. Download and install
Use the official downloads page. You can transfer the installer on USB to the intended device; runtime components are included.
4. Activate, then set up
Save the device request and send it to Dukkanak. Open the returned Active Key on the same device, then follow the business and local owner setup.
5. Prepare your opening data
Prepare and review your products and opening balances before recording real transactions. Make a backup after setup.
